Little Picnic Train

Little Picnic Train

Discover the charming Little Picnic Train, a beloved attraction run entirely by volunteers. The train, built in the early 1950s, was discovered abandoned at a station in 1990 by the West Darling Machinery Preservation Society. Today, it operates every third Sunday at Queen Elizabeth Park for the enjoyment of locals and visitors, with additional runs on Wednesdays during school holidays.

The park kiosk offers a variety of refreshments, including hot and cold drinks, sausage sizzles, cupcakes, and zooper doopers, making it a perfect outing for families and groups of friends.
