Silverton School Museum

Silverton School Museum

The Silverton School Educational Museum is a unique destination in the Australian Outback. Originally opened as a tent by the New South Wales Education Department in 1884, the school celebrated its 10th anniversary as a museum in 2019. Visitors to the museum can expect to be transported back in time, with exhibits and artifacts that capture the history of settlement schooling in Australia.
